Something that's missing from the FAQ
1. Playing with more than 1 account.
2. Hacking the system and not letting Mickey or the Mods know how you did it.
3. Profiting from item 2.
4. If you suspect someone of cheating, don't shout it out; let a mod know.
5. Paying for information is valid; Aslong as the payee is not you. ( see 1. )

Brilliant idea.. I'll make this sticky and also move it over to the FAQ :givebeer:

8. When finding a bug, just PM mickey instead of using it for your own fun and wiping all players off the board first.

I think there should be consequences for breaking the rules. especialy when you do break rule 8 or 9. You shall not crack the bank and profit from it.

Even after you come clean on a cheat. Speaking for myself, I don't like the idea of a criminal breaking in to a bank, stealing a whole lot of money; reporting how he did it and getting to keep all the money. That just doesn't sit well with me.

A reasonable reward for would be 10% of what you got or if that's too much 5%. That's just me....

Err Mods could you list them out.

Socrates: heads will roll when we bust cheaters who don't tell us about the holes/scripts. It is an immediate ban

If you do PM us with how you did it (and if possible, how to stop it) there will be a big reward.. I'm not going to tell you how much because it may differ in different circumstances..

This is already covered in points 2 & 6 :) but yes, I totally agree.

I know but mine goes a little further :)
I noticed throughout the months it has happened a lot that a cheater suddenly confessed when he read topics about himself and he suddenly realised he's caught. Or one decides to have a little revenge before breaking the news to mickey. By later telling it, he then makes himself look like the big guy who found a security hole and just needed to test it.

On the other hand again, maybe those who find a hole, should get a little bonus from Mickey.

Quick question...

A lowlife finds a new way to cheat and wipes out major holdings of other players...

Is there some way to compensate the players directly affected by the cheaters actions?

At the moment there isnt, but I suggest you bring this up again after the move :)
