Maybe some old (WW II) fortifications? In the middle a shelter for the unit and around some places for Defense, maybe Anti-Aircraft.

these things around could also be some kind of tank-firing-position.
That could be an explaination for the little trails that connect them.

Could be a deserted sam-site.. but I guess its too big for that.. otherwise i donīt know what it is.

They could also be archeological dig sites; most ancient Egyption settlements were on the west bank of the Nile

Its definitly fortifications. Looks rather like it is used fore military trainings of Egyptian army. Six big rounds looks like artillery position and although you can find many tank positions around this place.

Yeah, I have to agree. Check also the attached placemark for what appears to be a military barracks site with trucks and tanks.

After a few days of looking and searching the Internet there is no answer what this could be. Yesterday i have found a site about the imperial of Nubia. Upper Nubia was b.c. in this region and the old nubia has also great things like pyramids and temples.

Has anybody a good map of egypt ?

Hope you can help.

Thx a lot and Greetings from Germany

It's definitely a SAM site, or the remains of a SAM site. Those six circles are where the SAM launchers would go. Each is surrounded with an earth rampart with 3 gaps for connecting roads. Often this sort of emplacement has a characteristic hexaognal appearance (sometimes the roads make it look like the Star of David too), such as here (a People's Army of Viet Nam SAM site)
