How to unload a .kmz file

Not knowing what I was doing, I've loaded several .kmz files and in one case I've loaded two different ones over each other, Seattle and Tacoma traffic and I can't figure out how to get rid of them. I would have assumed each would show up either in the Layers or Places section where they can be unchecked.

When they are not in the places or layers section (where they can't be), where are they? When are no longer interested in a downloaded file, just delete it by hitting the delete key or right click with mouse and choose delete.
