im wondering about these kmz files?
how do i get them? i have alot of pined places of intrest around ireland (where i live) and would love to share them with people.
so if someone can help explain how i get these pinned places to a kmz file and put them on the site.
i know how to upload general files to the net, its not a problem its just as i said befor how do i get my pinned places on my computer to a kmz file, or where are these files kept
help?

well first what you have to do is select the placemarks on GE by
right-clicking on them then click save as and choose the place you want to save them to. Then go to the googleearthhacks main page and on the right hand side click Add File. Just fill in the spaces and then at the bottom wher it says KML or KMZ to upload just click browse and then look for the location where you saved the placemark, Then when all thats done just press submit.

oh by the way where do you live in Ireland because I live in Dublin.

i live in N Ireland Portadown, but travel all over ireland when taking photos of car shows for www.jon44w.com but also on holidays.
back to topic
each time i have saved a place on google earth it goes into some folder on my computer, so its basicly just trying to find the filder then that will be where all my files will be?

At the top of the screen it should say Save in... then just select what folder I find My Documents works well.

been through it many times, havnet actualy stoped there for some reason yet, at least i dont think i have
