??? very large tape at baykal lake?

I really need help by this. It looks like a large tape, about 100 miles long and 1 mile whide. It seems to be a display mistake, but "Nasa World Wind" shows it in a similar way. Any idea?

Your attachment shows the Tuscon Airplane Graveyard.
I think you meant this (see attachment). It has to be an image error. In a web search engine use the "image-option" and search for STS045-96-000N. You'll find a picture taken by NASA in 1992. It's very small, but you can guess the same strange "tape".
