New User has questions

Hi all new to the site and forum

do i need to be using the subscription version of GE to add the files on the download page

how do i add the downloaded files to my version of GE

alright mate. normally i ask all the questions. now i can help someone too.
basically you can add files to any version of GE you have.
go to the file section, choose one you like, download and open it (with GE running) and the camera will zoom round to show you the improvement.
if you like it, drag the file from "temporary places" to "my places", right click on it, and "save as" to a folder on your hard drive.

I downloaded Google Earth recently and installed it on my Dell M70 laptop.All device should support.Moreover one of my colleagues had run it on Dell M60 successfully with similar deployment.Why it always disppear after started on my machine?
