Ghost Aircraft

Why many of the "aircraft in flight" images show us a plane in vivid color, and a "ghost" image (pale color, semi-transparent) , near it? Someone can answer this?

I have a theory, about lens focus, but using some Optical Physics, I couldn´t fit it to this situation, of having two images. You just should have a blurred image of it.

Maybe, the capture is done using two equipments (one camera, and a infrared sensor) . If the capture itself is not done when the satellite is vertical, having some tilt, then you will have a situation called parallax, just like when you see two images of the same object when you make your eyes point to different directions.
