it's not really THAT Interesting...I live nearby..only a few hundred metres away from it and its really boring.
An interesting fact though, a few years ago this has been a British Headquarter.

An interesting fact though, a few years ago this has been a British Headquarter.
It wasn't just a British Headquarter - it was the biggest military airport in whole Europe (biggest means the biggest runway).
Every kind of plane could start and land there.

You can still see the rest of the runways.

I know, :-D its actually a cool place to hang around, plenty of space for camping for example or for having bbq ^^
Plus its cool to explore the whole place once you get there. But the trains arent that important, I have a friend that lives nearby and well in the night the sounds/lights can be really disturbing
