I'm new to the site, and I was wondering if it was possible to track satellites like the iss tracker?

Thats neat, how often do network links update?

In this case every 3 minutes, but generally it depends on how often the source-datas are updated. When e.g. real-time weather pictures are provided just every hour it doesn't make sense to refresh them every 5 minutes.

Oh, I see now. I've just started playing with GE and just made a neat radar for NC, finally found one without a background. I wish they would let us use animated gifs though, how cool would that be.

Sorry, I must have said that wrong. I already found that. Nasa has J-track and
J-track 3D. There are other programs out there also. But thats what I am looking for. Something that could do the same thing as those programs but in GE.

I know this thread is old, but anyway...
Here is a Satellite Tracker (http://space.solenix.ch/map.jsp) on Google Maps.
The same can be played in GE using the KML below.

If you want a good Satellite Program, here's a great one. It's called Satscape.

Check this for satellite tracking:

It's kind of scary to see all the junk we've got floating around up there.
