High Resolution Images

Here is a challenge to find the highest resolution images on google earth. Here are some of the best I have seen... and I don't know why they picked out such a small area in such a big place. Re: The first picture... look to the right and you'll see a lot of brown yukie looking pools with a man stood near them. Does anyone know what these might be ?

Just found another in Africa (From a post on this site)... these images are in amazing detail... especially when its not a major city or something.

Just check the National Geographics Magazine layer, and you got all these fine "Africa Megaflyovers"

Somebody should ask the US government for hi-res images. They have some that are 6ft resolution, that's so clear, you should be able to see a grapefruit in the pics! :whoa:
I doubt they'll give them to us, but that would be cool

Not of the same eratic magnitude as these are, this is the National Geographic Megaflyover layer. It's odd, but amazing. If you look closely, some of the people were looking up at the plane flying overhead.

If you go about 50 miles inland from the big lake near there you can find some mud pools jammed full of hippos!

Looks crazy in there!
