The Hawker aircraft factory, where Hunters were built, was only about 13 miles away from the site where the "Big Apple" shopping centre now stands in the middle of Woking.

Try looking at this from the ground up then... and then try flying it with a huge metal pole that it's attached to, along with the fact that the plane is just a mere shell.... no engine etc!. As you can see from the previous posting that has photos taken from the ground! As you can see: Firmly fixed to terra firma! Set as a counterpoint(?) to the "Martian Walking Machine" about 50yds away around the corner, also near to Crown House as well!!
"low flying plane..." My A*** lmaoooo
It was put in place outside the 'Big Apple' a few years ago, just undergone a major refurb.. it did look a little weatherbeaten prior to this too! There also used to be a Blackburn Buccaneer inside what is now the 'Big Apple' when the place use to have a bar/nightclub in it, before its recent transformation into the 'Big Apple' as it is now! The Blackburn Buccaneer was actually fitted directly over the bar!!

Oh by the way the 'Big Apple' isn't a shopping centre either! Woking town centre has two and they're both down the road and are:
Wolsey Walk which is right next door to The Peacocks Shopping Centre!

hasve you ever seen sa comedy called "The Royal Family"....?
the phrase I used is in every day use.... I don't consider it swearing, onr do people I know... It's in everyday use! Do people who use this forum live in a glass bubble? I consider swearing to be real old Anglo-Saxon in origin! F**** C**** etc!! I'm not being aggressive,. If I was believe you me you would most definately know it! I'm being sarcastic! I live locally and have extensive knowledge of the area. Facts maybe facts... but if I backup my local knowledge with sarcasm and if he/she or who/whatever hasn't got the gumption to understand it then.... Tuff! Bar me, block me do whatever I don't give a stuff! If/when you know me then you'll understand where I'm coming from! Do whatever you want. Quite frankly I don't care. I only came onto this site as I needed to log onto (much to my annoyance) it to check out some pics. I found out afterwards that the pics I needed to look at were of such a poor resolution that I could have done better with my camera!!

To misquote a well known phrase: Anyone that wants me to be a member of their club... **** em!

I'm on enough 'bulletin boards' covering similar stuff to know what I'm on about and don't get this kind of reaction!
Do your worst...!

Like I really care!!!

Google that!!!!
