While I was 'Flying High' over Canada... I saw this nearly perfect circle.. filled with water around the edges...
Does any one know what this is, It looks like a impact crater... but there is no mention of it on the GEC layer..
Surely something over 40 miles in diameter would be famous for something ?

Silly me... should have zoomed in more....
It is a crater.. over 200 million years old...

I wonder if these are meteorite craters too ?

The bigger of those two looks like it could be. But two impacts in one place? And still visible after all this time?
Seems like too little chance of that happening for them both to be impact craters.
Edit: seems they are impact craters!
