I'm new to these forums so I'd like to say hi to everyone and say what a great little site you have.
I was out looking at the plane graveyard near Tuscon when I found this large group of ovals out in the desert. My first reaction was it was a race track, but there's no grandstands.
Anyone else have any ideas?

Do you mean this? Looks like it might be a test track, but it's not in very good condition.
Edit: And here's another one.

First is a track for real. Second is a demolition track. Wreck the enemy last one standing (running) wins.

Cool! Because I'm new to this, what's the best way of locating what things are? I guess its by the Lat/Long and then looking it up on another map somewhere?

In quite a lot of cases it's already listed on the GE Community layers. Turn that on and see if it's already been tagged. The ovals aren't but a lot of the planes in the 'graveyard' are identified.

Not to hijack you post, but what is this odd line in the Saudi desert? Some sort of registry mismatch? But why is it there in the low and high resolution views of the area?
