Old Data??

HEY I HAVE JUST DOWNLOADED GOOGLE EARTH.. why are the images not up to date?...i looked up my house and it shows it before i did the new landscaping 8 months ago? that meens its not recent...i have the free version of google earth do i need to upgrade to get all the up to date data?or am i doing some thing wronge any advise ...would be good ...thanks all.

Sorry, but why do you ask that here and not on the site where you've downloaded the program?

None of the images are up to date, they're mostly 3 to 4 years old. Some are newer but you won't get anything particlarly recent. The different versions of GE all use the same image data so upgrading won't change it. The home page of GE Hacks gives some info on dates.
