Yes, it is HMS Warrior. If you turn on the GE Community layers you'll see that a lot of things are already marked. This is true for a lot of the things you've just posted. Always worth checking that first.

HMS Warrior

Four ships of the Royal Navy have been named HMS Warrior.

* Warrior, launched in 1781, was a third-rate ship of the line of 74 guns. She became a receiving ship after 1818, and was broken up in 1857.

* Warrior, launched in 1860, was the first ironclad ocean-going armoured battleship. She is preserved at Portsmouth.

* Warrior, launched in 1905, was an armoured cruiser. She was disabled at the battle of Jutland and foundered a day later.

* Warrior (R31), launched in 1944, was a Colossus-class light fleet aircraft carrier. She was loaned to Canada from 1946 to 1948, then sold to Argentina and renamed Independencia in 1958.

* As of 2004, HMS Warrior is the operational headquarters of the Royal Navy at Northwood near London.

No worries, just passing on some handy hints. It's also worth searching this forum as well. Welcome by the way, and keep searching, plenty of cool stuff out there waiting to be found.

i live here...if you look at the spinnaker tower nearby it's not finished, it is finished now and you can go up in a glass lift and get a great view of the solent.

it's a lovely waste of local taxpayers money.

Just curious...what does "third-rate" mean in this context? I assume it doesn't mean "crappy ship of the line".

there's six ratings so it was really "the mediocre ship of the line" :x
