Melted planes?

A couple airplane-shaped stains on the tarmac at Peoria Airport, Illinois, US. Looks like they melted into the ground, or as someone's community layer tag pointed out, were hit with a death ray?

Yeah i think you're right on the plane washing bit. Those both look like a similar pattern, and the second one is definately water from cleaning the aircraft.

That's it! Some clown 4mi away playing with one of those high-powered green laser pens...probably trying to blind jetliner pilots. By a tragic fluke the beam is intensified by the ionosphere (water vapor...um...gamma rays...I dunno...it's SCIENCE!!), bounces off a highly polished optical mirror on the satellite, and hurtles back to Earth to wreak havoc at Peoria airport.

I like it. Beats reality.
