OK here is an idea, How about creating the whole world in 3D, By that I mean only the locations in Hi-res. So what I was thinking is that everyone who has a way of creating 3D buildings in GE could post here if they are in. If I get any replies I will give more info.

Best Wishes GEH4EVR

Well you would start a t the international Date line and slowly work your way around the globe but you would do it so that a certain number of people word work on a certain given area.

I think a good idea would be to have everyone who can, begin with their hometown and surrounding areas. I would love to help you guys, but I only have the regular Google Earth.

Regretebly, I know geography too well, and I have done science fair projects for too many years to pull that card on them, besides, if I don't do well on the experiment I'll end up :dead: !
I think using GE FV is just fine, it still has plenty of cool features
What would be better is if someone could develop a mod so I could make 3-D models and then import them onto GE, kinda like GE-Path or something like that ;)

BradG7 I have found a completeley free 3D application the web site is here (http://www.simplespatial.com/kml.aspx), What you have to do is move the map to the location you want to make a 3D model and zoom in, Then you just enter a name into the box at the side and a description then click on the map at the points of the building and you will see a blue line,
keep clicking around the base of the building and back to the circle.

Then you will see a box where it says height(m) there you just enter the height in Meters and click add.

When you are done just click open KML and it will open in GE.

I have attached an example that I made.

Now I guess I have to help. Here's how it's gonna work.
I'll take my home town area(Algonac, Michigan) first, so all we need is all the members to volunteer thier home town areas. With this mod, it's a no brainer, everyone can, and soon we'll be looking good, Let's get started. FORZA TUTTI!!
:spin:

Ok everyone whoever wants to help please post here,

It doesn't matter where you live as you can do areas that you know.
Also when you have an area complete do not add it to the file area post it here instead.
