those weird lines are due to the airplanes that take the pictures are flying around and the sunlight shines on the ocean from different angles making a strange pattern when each aerial photograph is taken and you can see where the different photographs are stitched together where there are straight lines and where the lines are curves is because someone manually edited the original straight lines to make it no so much visible this effect is just much easier to see on areas that are water but also happens on the land but you just can't see it as well I hope this helps Cheers Matt :spin:
