Just thought i would share with you what i think is the island that lost is supposed to be on, not where the series is filmed but the actual island, this island just north easterly from the coordinates of 4.815N 162.342E, this island is also in the flight path of planes from sydney to LA.
Just another note is i believe the island is called Kosrae and Americans have tested nukes there between 1946 and 1958
