Does anyone know where the town is where the movie Chocolat was shot?

Hi i found this in wikipedia, the free encyklopdia:


Chocolat is a 1999 novel by Joanne Harris. It tells the story of a young mother (Vianne Rocher) who arrives at a fictional oppressed French village (Lansquenet-sous-Tannes) with her six-year-old daughter (Anouk) and opens La Céleste Praline, a small chocolaterie. Vianne's chocolate quickly begins to change the lives of the townspeople.
So, you can´t find it with google earth...

I checked Wikipedia too, thats why I search the village the movie was shot, not the town the story plays :)

Maybe they built a town in a studio! So it wasnt shot in a french village...

Well, a German movie page (www.cinerate.de/film/chocolat/ (http://www.cinerate.de/film/chocolat/)) says the place is called Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, approx. 50 km northwest of Dijon.

And, indeed, according to Microsoft Autoroute, that little village exists.
Correct me if I am wrong, but hopefully the kmz-file shows the place Chocolat was shot.
It's a little bit irritating, that Flavigny-sur-Ozerain does not have any river or anything comparable, while the movie contains a scene where those gypsy-boats are shown... but maybe that was a studio-shot.
