now almost every area are in high resolution, i would be interested if you can help me to find a fantasic bird-eye view of some icebergs floating around.

If data is unavailable, then it is not to worry.

Thanks

Just go up to the north of Greenland and follow the coastline from east to west and you'll find some.

Here are some prerry big ones for you, I note that there aren't any around the south Pole that can be recognises due to the poor resolution of that area

These are all on inlands seas or waterways. (good find by the way)

Are there any on the open seas? What I found in Antartica appear to be islands and not icebergs.

You won't find ice bergs in the "open Sea" like you won't find any ships in the "open sea". as there is no land near by, the Google sat.wouldn't pick it up. That's why in the oceans we see the contoured sea bed.
