I found 3 other great pictures of Navy ships.

First a Destroyer, second a Battleship in a dry dock and last but not least an Amphibious Assault Ship(USS Kersage).

I am sorry, but the destroyer is USS Wisconsin (http://www.usswisconsin.org/) (BB-64), a WWII battleship.

The battleship in dry dock is no battleship. I would say it's an Arleigh-Burke-destroyer, but I am not sure.

There are no more battleships in active duty in the US Navy. The "destroyer" that you posted is a decomissioned battleship on display at the Nautilus -- maritime museum in Downtown Norfolk.

The "battleship" that you posted looks like a Ticonderoga class Cruiser to me.
