53°19'15.66"N 2°56'56.36"W
It looks like a huge fish, but in the River Mersey???? Given that the ships are not small, it must be a fair size.

12 meters long? Big fish. Looks like a sunken boat.

I diagree Gandolf, it is nearly impossible to be a sunken vessel, because it would be removed from the harbor as to not hinder navigation, but a fish is more understandable. Still, I believe it's a disturbance in the water, or wave created from something, possibly spilled cargo or an intake line releasing a bubble ;)

OK I agree it could be a bubble or some type of artifically caused reaction. I see this is an inclsed loading area off the main river. Probably a canal system.
