I dont made a "real" poll,because everyone can say the exact number of files.Otherwise had we just numbers like "under 10" oder "more than 50".

I have 11 (4 approved and 7 unapproved), but there will be a lots of more files in the next time,because I am still working at some 3D models with SketchUp.
And at "my" GE it will be arround 1000 files.(I am file-collector(but just the good ones))

It were better if we'll write the number of files which we added to the database and the number of files which we use at our personal GE.

Kinda weird how I have a file from 17 days ago (April 13th) that is still unapproved. Had 27 downloads though. Swish. Currently have 25 unapproved files. Gonna be more soon. Aiming for 350 by my birthday on June 5.

But it's hard to find new things to be explored. :)

As long as Google keep on adding new areas in Hi-Res there will be new stuff to explore and post.

My 2 cent:

As somebody who is facing with a backlog of almost 200 files and knowing that there is just one more mod working down the backlog with me, I really dislike that file-submitting-contest and the complaints of too many files waiting to be approved.

Sometimes, when I work on the list, I think, that some people just upload placemarks just to be one of the top-submitters. Well, it's not forbidden, but quantity doesn't always go along with quality.

It wasn't meant to be rude to you. We only find interesting things and mark them and wait untill they are approved. If we make new files after all are approved we could forget what we had in mind. ;)
It's just the same as if you order something and it's sold out but will come later. We feel the same way.

Actually I post whenever I have the time and find something think is interesting. I always try to make it worth while to download one of my hacks, adding pictures and explanatory text.

Maybe there is a small competitive element there too, but I think that is part of the fun as long as it is not the main reason for posting.

GEH is one of my favourite websites. I like to come here, both to post, to download, and to see what is new. None of that would be possible without the Mods. So I really appreciate your work. Keep it up, and at your own pace, you're doing very fine indeed!
