.gif Files

Does anybody know how to make an animated or moving .gif file type, I'm trying to figure it out, but I'm not getting very far :confused:

well when i want to make one i make a few pictures called "frames" and each one is slightly different thn the previous one and i get a program that can stick them all together and make a moving picture im not very good at describing things so sorry if you dont get it
