Poll: Is this map properly aligned?

Do you think this map is well aligned? I am asking this because some people think it is not well aligned, but others disagree. And it's obvious the answer should be an easy one...

It is as aligned as you can get it. Flat map in a round surface does not compute, unless you scale the image.

Best way to scale the image is to trapezoid (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trapezoid) it in scale with the rotation of the globe and the alignment diferential in latitude.

Appartently, I'm missing something here, because my GE displays it as undistinguishable bars of color. So please, clue me in on the secret :whoa:
