We as mods decide what goes and what stays, no disrespect is meant to anybody who has posted, but if they care about the subject that much, they will do it again.

The reason it was permanently deleted is because you made a poll of some but not all teams. You may think that they were the most likely to win, but that is merely an opinion. Each team has an equal chance at the cup. ie: The best teams in each of thier four major American sports didn't always win, only 25% did. The fact is that all have an oportunity, and you may say that they were covered by the "other" category, but that was offensive to Americans and other participant nations. Fact and opinion should remain seperate and never be influenced by one another, so please do not do so here at GEH.

I respect your opinion, and this is why i proposed that you included other nations as well! Instead you delete it...Only 20 options are possible and the teams are 32. I put 9 teams + "Other". I cannot edit it, you can. I made the poll, so I am right to express my opinion. If you have another opinion make another poll. As I said, i proposed to you to include USA as you wished but also include others.

If possible, bring it back, because there were about 10 people who voted and a few who posted and you as a mod have to respect them.

I have already discussed this with other mods, and we feel that instead you should make a thread asking about all 32 teams. The reason I did not do so, is because I am not a soccer fan at all, I don't even know how to play, but I do belive in equality for all nations.

I wish I could list all 32, but the program has a capacity of 20. If you believed in equality of nations you would have included not only the US but others who are better. it was about football not politics.

One last comment --- the poll feature has just been modified to allow for up to 35 choices. If you want, go ahead and recreate the poll and include every country. Some of us will vote for the US even though we know there's really not much of a chance... :)
