for example, i might get away with 1 model, but if i try to add any subsequent ones, it just isn't worth it, it slows too much.
how many models can you guys add at any one time without sacrificing quality?

Well you can put about 5 models if you have Google Earth 4.

Hey,
I don't know too much about computers but:
You say you have a 70GB hard drive. That means your computer can store 70GB of information. How much is your RAM and how good is your graphics card?
Google Earth doesn't use very memory.
Models on Google Earth take up RAM, so check what your RAM is. I used to have 512 mb RAM, and I could barely run Google Earth, and it would crash if I opened another program (like iTunes). So, check how much RAM you have.
But once again, I don't know too much about computers...so ask an expert.
