Hi,
I'd like to use GE on my IBM Thinkpad 600x which is a 1999 era machine. It will only run the OpenGL. The graphics card only goes up to 24 bit. I read on the website that if I bumped it down to 16 I could run GE in DirectX but still does not work. I have a Neomagic MagicGraph graphics card.
The drivers will not upgrade to 32 bit. Is there something else to do? Or do a need a new laptop or grapics card?
