What's the point of this file, it just says, "here is Iraq" :confused:
That's like me placemarking DC and saying, here is the capital.

Brad, you've missed something - a few ancient cities are shown...I remember their names from 4th grade History lessons(wow I must have been just 9 yrs old)... great file!
wasn't Uruk the most ancient city on the planet?

Hmmm, let me check, I'll get back to you on that, I was just assuming, I never looked in closley, the original load view is just of the country, that's all, then It's fine by our standars ;)

Hi Brad,
When placing this file , my purpose wasn't to create any anti american anger, but just to check great things from a very old historical point of view.
It's a pity to have these places now under bombs due to what everybody knows... but that doesn't change History with a major H.
To be more precise, i should have say "Assur, mother of civilization"...but i wasn't quite sure that some may remember what was Assur and, therefore, Irak is the modern name of the country
