Well, I read the sticky, I watched the video, I search on "UK" (too short) and I searched on "England"; nothing relevant, so here goes...

Germany has 100% hi-res coverage. Lots of the Netherlands is almost unbelievably detailed. What about the UK?

I think the last big update was six months ago; Southend(!), Tyne- and Wear-side, parts of the north and NW, south Wales. More recently we've had vertical stripes through the Midlands and odd patches through the south.

I'd have thought the UK was the most aerial-photographed country on the planet. When are we going to get REAL hi-res coverage? Who do we scream at  ? Who do we write polite emails to :x ?

Any thoughts? Tom

You are right, I miss Scandinavia in hi-res too. But also Germany isn't full covered. Only 80% or so is in Hi-res.
I wonder why it takes so long.

well I already tried Shouting at them(Yes I get annoyed sometimes ;) ) using there Support/Request Form, I asked why the Isle Of Man isn't in Hi-res, they said that they can't do anything about it and when Google Wants to update it they will.

You can e-mail using this form. (http://earth.google.com/support/bin/request.py)

Hope it helps
