black or dark world

Hi guys

I am getting a dark earth whenever I start google earth up, I have tried finding some kind of adjustment but to no avail, I even uninstalled it and reinstalled but still the same.

Try to switch between OpenGL-mode and DirectX-mode
If this doesn't helps, download up-to-date drivers for your graphics card

might be a video issue. what video card are you using? you might want to update your video driver.
