Can all GE data be downloaded and run locally?

New to GE and wanted to see it were possible to store all data locally.

This is possible. Just make sure you have a very big cache and visit every place in Google Earth. That will put everything in the cache. You've got it local then.

I wouldn't recommand it, though. It needs a lot of hard disk space, i think it needs like 2 or 3 terabyte. I don't think i would do it. Why do you want to do it anyway?

But the max cache size is 2 GB, GE is holding ~12 TB of aerial pictures. So you have to focus on an area of interest until the cache is full.
