Hi Guys,

First post - wondering if anyone can help (hopefully this is the right place to post questions?)

I am working on an excel spreadsheet that will plot locations for active weather systems around the globe. I have my information, and can create the KML code in excel by using various concatenates etc.

My one problem is that the co-ords I have are in 13.0N 114.1W format. I tried to plot a path with co-ords in this format, using the demo code from the keyhole path tutorial, but to no avail.

I'm no co-ordinates expert, but I'm guessing I need to convert these into a format that GE can read direct from the KML file, but I'm unsure how to do this.

Any suggestions??

Thanks

Gems ;)

Those coordinates work in GE4 but test with min/sec version
EX:
lat = 39° 1'16.49"N
long = 88°21'6.82"E
