Millions of people cannot use google earth unless they have internet connection. i think this is not fair, there should be some way to copy the data in some places where there is internet and then view it at home where there is no internet connection

the only problem that many face is the login to the serverproblem

can any body tell me what the login of the server does to the computer ?
( cookies , copy files , registry, etc. )

is it possble to skip the server log in ?

thanks in advance !!!

Hum,
unfortunately it is a big problem if you don't have an internet connection.
And hacking the program is illegal...

An easier solution is just to use NASA World wind (http://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/), which has data that can be downloaded separately, and there is no cache limit...

The imagery on world wind is sometimes not as detailed as GE in certain places.

You can use GE(Free Version) offline, but unless the hi-res is already viewed and in the cache, you will only be able to view clearly from a very high altitude. :slant:

That's not completely true. You need at least one log in at the server to use it offline later.
