question about country borders

Are the yellow border lines (layer) accurate or just a guidance. I have seen the the yellow border line cut through house. Also when it cuts through a road there doesnt always seem to be a border control post.

Borderlines aren't accurate, it's allmost impossible. The same is with roads, streets and railways etc.
