Hello,

P.L.A.N (Popular Liberation Army Navy) of China has bought 3 Ex-Russian Aircraft carrier:
S.S.S.R. KIEV - now P.L.A.N. KIEV anchored near Tinjian
S.S.S.R. MINSK - now P.L.A.N. MINSK anchored near ShenZhen
S.S.S.R. VARYAG - now P.L.A.N. VARYAG anchored near Dalian

KIEV and MINSK are now parts of Chinese War entertainment parks (?????) for masses education (re-?????)

None of them seem to be any more enlisted in the active Navy

Rgds ;)

Jep, it looks very much like a park, cause there is a huge wall around the carrier. I was wondering how it could be able to leave this ring...

The Chinese bought this from the Russians...

Supposedly the Chinese are working on their own carriers, but are using this for training, and as a cheat sheet to build their own...

or at least one of them... no clue which of the bunch this is...

I did a little searching and I believe it is the Kiev. It is a theme park now. Check Wikipedia for information.
