View Full Version : Amazon tribe
I found this small tribe in the amazon the other night just flying around. Pretty cool, you can see there trails and everything.

Let me know if there are any issues with viewing. I am trying to learn how to create downloadable .kml or .kmz files it'll be easier to view them.

Hi Jrod. Welcome to GE Hacks!
Check my .kmz below. I created it by:
1. Set the GE view; area covered and height
2. Click Add / Placemark
3. Type in a title
4. Click the icon, top right, and select the most appropriate for the view; click OK
5. Right-click the placemark and click Save as…
6. Click Save. Now the placemark is on your hard disk. Note the folder it’s in.
When composing your post here:
1. Scroll down to Additional Options and click Manage Attachments
2. Click Browse
3. Navigate to the folder you stored the placemark in
4. Click the placemark and Open.
5. Click Upload; click Close this window.
Now your placemark is in your post as a .kmz file.
One other thing – in GE, click GE Community in Layers. You may find other GE-ers have been there before you…
