The road to the city

I don't know if this will interest anyone, but this is the road I take into the city every day, it takes about 15 minutes and some of the views along the way are spectacular. It's also quite dangerous, at least some of the idiots who race up and down the mountain are, and there have been a lot of deaths.

Take the road from the marker to the upper right, it's best viewed from about 2,000 feet. The Skyrail crosses the road in a couple of places, but I haven't managed to find one of the gondolas yet.

Yep, that's Myola, and if you keep going it crosses the river again, the people who live across the river are trying to get a bridge built because they get cut off every year in the wet season.

That 'forest' is part of the Daintree Tropical Rainforest, the oldest rainforest in the world.
