I've found the same house other imagery, and it has a standard gray shingle roof. This certainly looks much more like a tarp than having some roof work done. :) So .. dunno, maybe!

The south most portion is a solid building while the middle portion is covered with tarp strips ( or a tarp with a zebra stripes design ) . This tarp is flying and is balooned in the east, rising higher than the roof of adjacent building.

I am happy, that we don't have problems with termites in Germany, because my house is made of wood. :rofl:
