Its been several years since I was there, but I believe it is a large fountain of some sort they have roped off in the lake. When I was there they were haveing a fireworks festival on both the German and Swiss side of the lake and I thought that the fountain was something they put in the harbor for the case of fires on all the boats out there.

I don't think a fountain is logical, this is almost 500 feet in diameter.
How about something like an atoll, the remnants of an ancient volcano caldera?
Seems like the various shadows in the questioned area validate the idea of some considerable height above the water level. (Compare to buildings on Island to the west)

Follow up: I guess it took off cause it's gone on the updated Earth. or maybe it sunk, or better yet the water level rose and it's still there below the surface.

Your right, it is gone. But if you look closely you can just barely see a part of the western edge. I'm going to agree with Wyzig on this: the water level probably rose.

It looks like some sort of geologic feature or perhaps a meteor crater.
I'm also sure that anyone fishing on the lake regularly might have some idea as to it's origins or purpose, or perhaps the local government has studied the lake bottom at some point. I doubt it's designed by any extraterrestrial intelligence. :)
