AK Underground Moles? discussion

They are tailings (removed earth) from the excavation of the 3.5 mile tunnel from Bradley Lake (follow the road up the hill) to the power generation plant, as part of the Bradley Lake Hydroelectric Plant operated by the Homer Electric Association.
