any chance that it could be made so that if you captured the majority of population in a given country, then you'd become 'ruler' of the country.

there may be some extra reward for this? or certain cities could be allowed to call for backup from another if attacked (within a ruled country)?

and the whole country becomes color-coded when caught?

possibly start with just continents?
