Is that in fact the Queen Mary 2 ? :???: :???:
-
No, that's not QM2. The position of the funnels, the foredeck and the pool doesn't match...

the measurements and placement of the funnel makes me think the ship in the picture is the QE2? Can anyway confirm that?
-
Can't confirm. Position, foredeck and number of funnels doesn't match with QE2.

When you now klick on the file you will see the QM2.
Go through the Deck Plan on: http://www.cunard.com/tourQM2/defaul...board&sub=360#
You will see that this ship is defitive QM2. The measurements are correct.
The funnals are all in position and the number of lifeboats are also correct.

After checking the net, i figured out that only the QM2 can be seen there. http://www.cruiseserver.net/travelpa...ines/index.asp
Queen Mary is the only ship on this planet with 24 rescue-boats. I found a picture that shows the two pools and the upper deck.http://www.cruiseweb.nl/images/dwars...QueenMary2.jpg

As the 'origin' ship is gone I have to enforce my memory. The ship berthed in Lisbon has 2 funnels in a row in the aft 3rd of the ship.
QM2 has one main funnel (I guess for engines) and 2 secondary funnels (for generators?) next to eachother behind the main.
