    Default Went To See Airplain

Hi all well I went to YUINAN Provence in search of the 5TH airplane I posted. And thought it was going to be a long wasted 3 day drive but was surprised to find it! thanks to a GPS drove to it with know problem. With a little luck and being a American the Military let me go in the base and take photos of it. they told us it has been sitting there for almost 20 years. It was new when they landed it there. now it is Just a big water tank the rain has filled it with water. the engines have been taken out but all the rest seems to be there even the machine guns on the top turret. It looked as if it was a well built aircraft at the time. and here is some photos i took for your info. The base ball diamond was taken down last year and is not there it was used by the army as a game place i was told.
CAN YOU TELL ME HOW TO ADD
    ATTACHMENTS SUCH AS PHOTOS
    FROM MY PITCHERS PLEASE

OR CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME YOUR EMAIL AND I WILL SENT THEM TO YOU TO POST FOR ME

To reduce the size of your images you could just simply open the pictures in windows paint if your using windows. Then simply click on image then stretch/scews and just insert a lower number. There are several ways of doing this is just the simplest way for me. Then just save the picture.

Hope that helps. Great dedication and hope to see them soon.

My mind works better in sentences with spaces and long paragraphs loose me sometimes cause I need to picture what is going on at the same time I am reading.

    Wonderfull follow up!

by the way, apparently they turned the plane. On Google Earth the water tower (if that is what it is) is behind the plane, in your pictures it's in line with the wings...

Yes Mcmaster I was very disappointed after driving 3000 Kilometers on a 2 lane roads hoping for a beautiful collectors item. I do not know why this is but i was told it flue 2 times and was parked there 5 months after it was built. and never flue again. what a wast!!
I did see a lot of beautiful places going and coming and was very impurest on the new freeway they are building that will be in service next year.

    Hi,

So it seems all six SH5 are still alive....
    • Four were seen still operational at Qingdao last fall (see this thread at Scramble).
    • This one; the second (?) prototype tailnumber "03"
    • The first (?) prototype, tailnumber "02" at an unknown location. Some images 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Sure would like to know where this one is preserved

It's an very unknown airplane, and it flew for the first time in 1976
