This is a discussion thread for the following file:

USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) in drydock at Northrop Grumman Naval Yard

Harry S. Truman entered the shipyards for a Docked Planned Incremental Availablility in January of 2006. The ship received many system upgrades, and underwent preventative maintenance to repair minor weld defects originiating from the initial construction of the reactor plants.

    Default Not CVN-75

You are partially correct. CVN-75 did enter a shipyard as you state, but you've got the wrong shipyard and the wrong ship.

The ship you have marked is CVN-70 Carl Vinson which was transferred from Pacific operations for RCOH in Newport News.

The important thing to note is the title of the shipyards. Northrop Grumman Newport News operations is NOT the same as Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The dry docks up where you've marked is Newport News. The ship you want is quite a ways to the south.
