Excellent - not mentioned above but:

Sydney Australia's CBD and eastern suburbs are now no longer just a fuzzy blur...

Weird thing is the gps co-ordinates seem to have changed about 30 metres in the process.....

Are these completly new pics or just the same but in higher Res ?

Cause, if the pics are new, all moveable objects might be disappeared

Yep. We're discussing the best way to handle that on the site...

Look at the Empire State Building in NYC... there is another building next to it leaning the other direction... and that's not the only place! Not a good job... I'm a little disappointed! It's kinda sweet though that you can even see the people on top of the ESB...

In my opinion it's pretty funny, but no bad job. I think it's a bad job when hi-res and low-res are ~3 miles away or when the 'tiles' next to eachother doesn't match like in Naples/Italy.
This one is pretty funny and I am wondering how this might happen.

    Question

a kmz-file with all the new or updated (high res) cities would be cool...
or is something like this already around?
    greetings, friesede

So, is it only certain portions of each area that have been updated? I looked at my house in Phoenix, and it looks the same as it always has... Maybe only downtown???

Same thing here in Atlanta with our house and our church - the church images are high-res but 4 years old!

Good spotting! I hadnt noticed! I'm too busy romping around Sydney taking up realestate now that my local area is somewhat high-res (MUCH better than the camoflauge map from before)

Mickey, how come Sydney wasnt included in the update list? Is it because its photos were from a plane/helicopter rather than satellite?

    T.
