    Talking maybe not

hi, i don't think that it is water or an endless pit because it is in the middle of the desert and plus it has a perfect square border around it so i don't think it could be nateral!

Correct, the shape indicates it's man-made, however the one thing man works the hardest at to provide in a desert is water. In the desert climates, water looks black in satellite imagery the majority of the time.

Looking around will find quite a few of these pools. Some of them are near houses and trailers while others are set apart, but near what look like fence structures. The ring of bushes and trees is likely partially there to provide shade, but it also probably serves to keep the worst of sand shifting out of the water.

It certainly looks to me like they're mostly there to serve as water sources, probably for livestock.

I'm including a set of placemarks for other pools in the area.

These are remnants of the large cattle ranches a century ago. All had "catch basins" for water. If you look at most you will see round corrales near the catch basins.

You'll also notice that these water holes are 125 feet or more across. Not many swimming pools this size.

My mind works better in sentences with spaces and long paragraphs loose me sometimes cause I need to picture what is going on at the same time I am reading.
