    Smile No North Pole

    Hi,
    I have fount somthing weird if you type in north pole into google earth it is the middle of the sea and the same for southpole too if anyone can tell me why this is i would be glad 2 hear from you,

    Try typing into the "fly to" box 90,0 and -90.0

    That's actually really cool/strange. Nice find. North Pole results in North Pole, Inuvik; Unorganized, NT, Canada in the middle of nowhere, Atlantic Ocean. And South Pole shows up as South Pole, Antarctica also in the middle of the ocean. Nice find...

    But also..I have no idea why it does that...

    It looks like it is set to the current recognized position of the magnetic north pole. Remember, that the magnetic pole (where a compass would point towards) is not actually the geographic north pole.
