http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showflat....Number=1201548
I discovered you can do away with the hopping by just always using the same target altitude and tilt=90
enjoy this walk around epcot futureworld's 3d structures from roughly eye level
also will upload to files area

Both of these bounce a lot - sometimes as much as a ten mile high bounce.
But your other file (here ) doesn't bounce.
bouncing
Yes Appletom that makes sense. Thanks.
The ones which use zero altitude and vary purely based upon range and heading - these seem sure fire not to bounce.
I was excited to find that I could get the tilt=90,alt=nonzero files not to bounce as well - but only on some machines for whatever reason - possibly a matter of the video card itself?
No hopping on another laptop here
I tried the new TTA ride tilt=90,alt=5m on someone's Dell Xps 1330 and there was no hopping. So counting yours that's 2 that do and 2 that don't.
Success. Installed Latest Version
I looked closely at the working an non-working platforms and realized that the non-working one was a few version decimals behind. So I reinstalled Google Earth on the hopping Lenovo and can report that it is now a non-hopping Lenovo.
Appletom, can you try this?

This one still bounces - http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showflat....Number=1202169

Not sure which other ones I should try?
Remember, I'm using just one machine, so just one version of GEarth.

Yeppers - sometimes I feel pretty dense.
Upgrading from version 4.3.7191.6508 (beta) to version 4.3.7284.3916 (beta) seems to have done the trick.
The two files mentioned in the previous post now both run without hopping.
